She graduated in 2010 with her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Philips attended family medicine residency in Anderson, South Carolina, at Anmed Health, where she completed a global health track and graduated with honors. She is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

Dr. Phillips served our nations hero’s at the Department of Veterans Affairs from 2013-2023 in outpatient primary care. She has been Medical Director for two community-based Based Outpatient Clinics in Princeton, West Virginia, and Athens, Georgia. She has extensive experience caring for children, adolescents, and college-age adults. She has treated thousands of patients with GLP-1 medications and is one of the most experienced physicians in the US when it comes to managing and dosing these weight-loss medications. She strives to find unique ways to make these medications accessible and affordable to those who need them most.

During the covid-19 pandemic in 2020 Dr. Phillips experienced a paradigm shift in her medical career. She never lost a patient during the pandemic as she actively applied data and research to provide nutritional support and off label use of medications to help her patients. After the pandemic and seeing that many of her patients were dealing with issues she couldn't help with traditional medicine, she began studying and exploring alternative and wholistic medicine.
She became certified in perineural injection therapy in 2023 training directly with Dr. John Lyftogt. She honed her skills in osteopathic manipulation and obtained certification in auricular acupuncture. She is currently undergoing advanced training in the Koniver Method which blends performance, longevity, and integrative/functional medicine with skills in peptide and IV therapy. Dr. Phillips is also completing the A4M longevity fellowship and plans to attend in-person training with Dr. Perrin in the Perrin Technique to further her interest in vagal nerve dysfunction relating to chronic fatigue syndrome. This adds to her already solid skills as an experienced clinician. She also holds faculty appointment as associate professor at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is the Campus Physician for Emmanuel University. She consistently has students with her and is leading a team of researchers with multiple studies underway. As a member of the College of Functional and Integrative Physicians, she is passionate about learning new things that can help her patients live their best lives and about helping other doctors rebuild the trust we so desperately need in our healthcare system. She has a special interest in mitochondrial and cellular health, chronic pain, epigenetics, neuropathy, mental health disorders, PTSD, infertility, metabolic disease, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Dr. Phillips has Certification in International Medicine and has led and participated in many international mission trips and has also served at the Baptist Hospital in Ghana, Africa. She and her office manager Eric lead teams to Peru, South America with Spirit-Led Expeditions, an organization they founded together in 2006. They plan to build a mission compound in Peru and eventually want a portion of the clinic's proceeds to support it.

She and her family relocated to Georgia to take over the operation of the family farm in Royston, Georgia in 2020 where they raise grass fed, grass finished beef at Phillips Ridge Farm. She loves spending time with her husband, 2 children, her grandchildren and her many farm animals. In her spare time she enjoys quilting, knitting, and game nights with family and friends. Her and her family are faithful members of Royston Baptist Church.
